Problem
Invasive Hydrilla has taken over Fairy Lake, resulting in a lake that is unhealthy, not boat friendly, not swimmable, and not nearly as beautiful as it once was.
Solution
Lake and Pond Remediation has been hired by Fairy Lake Management Association to restore Fairy Lake. This restoration process has already begun with fish barrier installations, carp, and herbicide treatment. Lake will continued to be monitored and additional treatment will be applied as needed.
Seeking Help From
Every lake front resident, lake front business, resident of Columbus Harbor HOA and Wildmere HOA, along with the City of Longwood benefits from this beautiful lake and are being asked to contribute funds to support this restoration project.
How to Help
Fairy Lake Management Association currently does not have enough funds to complete this initial restoration task. Our goal is to collect $40,000, and as of April 2020, we have received over $24,000 by caring and generous residents. Please join us in this cause!
